Dr. Pelláthy memorial is above one of the hospital
building. He was the director of the Holly Cross Hospital. He
was my father's friend and our family practitioner. I remember
when I was a little child and had high fever he, came to visit
me at home. His children are my good friends. I attended the wedding
in USA of one of his grand daughter's wedding in 1999.

This was our house till the communist state took it
from us. I lived here from 1930 - 1951. In front of the house
there were very tall maple trees, which were cut down in 1945
by the communists and Russians for fire wood. Since then each
time I am in Kalocsa I can see newly planted trees in front of
this house.
What happened to the trees which were planted 10 or
20 or 45 years ago?
